Charitable Community Giving Program

ACN's corporate culture was founded on the principal of giving, and today the company's charitable community program is making a difference in the lives of others.  Employees at ACN are offered countless opportunities to give back ranging from simply wearing a $10 t-shirt to support the Ronald McDonald House, to running a 5K benefitting Speedway Children's Charities or acting as a Big Brother or Big Sister impacting the life of a child for the better.

In 2008, ACN began working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and raises funds for this organization at each of ACN's global events.  "We thought we could do the most good by really focusing on a charity that embraced our core value of helping families with children. That led us to Ronald McDonald House Charities," ACN Chairman and Co-Founder Robert Stevanovski says of the company's designated global charity. ACN matches any donations made by employees and Independent Business Owners dollar for dollar, and together have raised millions of dollars worldwide to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.

ACN made significant contributions locally to open the doors of the new Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.  This home-away-from-home for the families of critically ill or injured children officially opened its doors to families in May of 2010 and ACN has continued to support the cause through donations and volunteer hours.  Each month ACN employees prepare dinner for the 28 families staying at the House on a given night.

The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Celebrity Golf Tournament is another way funds are raised for the RMH of Charlotte. ACN employees plan and volunteer to work this event, which sells out annually, and most recently raised over $200,000! The tournament offers golfers the opportunity to play a round with a celebrity captain AND give back to a great cause.
