Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:   This is a marketing communications position with emphasis in and responsibility for content creation across all communication channels, including but not limited to social media, digital, print, SEO, media relations, blogs, etc..  As a content marketing specialist, you will be creating and managing various forms of content for digital efforts in support and in collaboration with Direct Sales and Product Marketing.  This position is will focus on creative content creation that strengthens and expands the company's brand and reach, with a strong emphasis on achieving SEO and online reputation goals. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create engaging and creative content of various forms (email, articles, blogs, social media, images, videos, etc.) that supports overall content marketing and company objectives for the ACN brand and various products and services
  • Ability to brainstorm and conceptualize new forms of content and communications campaigns for products and services, network marketing, and event marketing
  • Ability to react quickly to messaging and strategy changes
  • Assist with managing of editorial communications calendar
  • Create, execute, and measure content marketing and communication campaigns to ensure that they are carried out effectively and meet defined strategic goals over the short-, medium-, and long-term
  • Provide clear, strategic direction to the creative services team to develop graphic elements related to campaign initiatives 
  • Research and analyze trending and competitive content within the industry and the desire to stay up to date on the latest content marketing trends

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:   

  • Exceptional communications skills, verbal and written
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an organized way in an extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; creative PPT or Keynote skills desired
  • Exceptional Copywriting experience across various channels
  • Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of drip marketing
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing trends, especially in social media
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS systems such as WordPress

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 1-5 years’ work experience in content marketing with an emphasis on content creation
  • Ability to work in a matrix management organization and to effectively take direction from and collaborate with peers
  • Ability to travel up to 4 times per year to work quarterly Sales Conventions
