Job Description

SUMMARY:  To protect ACN from exposure created from unethical, IBO activity. Proactively identify areas of risk to ACN with regard to ethical and legal practices in accordance to ACN’s Policies and Procedures.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Audit, analyze and monitor online IBO marketing activity.
  • Conduct Internet research functions – Must be Social Media Savvy.
  • Document preparation and processing, using proper grammar and spelling.
  • Excellent follow-up skills (must take initiative to ensure all challenges are properly resolved).
  • Create and maintain accurate record of activity in Case Management System.
  • Remain current on all guidelines established by Director and executive management.
  • Properly monitor and adhere to established timelines for regulatory and escalated case types.
  • Create and distribute relative findings based on results of investigations.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills in order to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Case Management; investigate and research required to effect case closure.
  • Review and work cases in variety of areas; Slams, LLD, Energy Services, Regulatory, Savings Guarantees, Solicitation, Unethical Activity, etc. using multiple sources, including FCC/FTC.
  • Customer contact to confirm and/or determine status of allegations.
  • Enforce and support ACN’s position when reviewing marketing materials.
  • Strong investigative skills.
  • Organize and prioritize projects as they are presented for review from outside parties.
  • Provide weekly, detailed status updates to Director.
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings with constructive input.
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as outstanding organizational ability;
  • Proficient knowledge level and application of Microsoft Office software;
  • Experience operating multiple systems for tracking all issues from creation through resolution;
  • Internet proficiency, including understanding of web crawler software;
  • Protect ACN and Business Ethics operations by keeping required data confidential;
  • Dependable, punctual, detail oriented, results-driven;
  • Flexible, personable, team player with high level of professional integrity;
  • Self-directed - works well independently and in team environment;
  • Ability to prioritize, apply critical thinking and manage multiple tasks;
  • Must enjoy working with a diverse culture;
  • Adapts to changing needs and priorities – enjoys a fast-paced, busy environment.           
 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • AA/AS degree, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Paralegal experience preferred.
  • 2+ years in legal or compliance related position required.
