ACN is currently seeking a dynamic Product Trainer to join their marketing department and support the strategy, planning, design, development and maintenance of product training that will enable ACN’s sales channel to more effectively sell a robust home services portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for product training, possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be able to be an advocate for our brands, while delivering high impact trainings in front of large, small and digital audiences. He/she excels at public speaking and will deliver trainings in a clear and motivational way.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide content and direction to with the Creative Services team to develop training presentations or modules to be administered to the sales channel via one or more mediums (live, webinars, LMS etc.).
  • Regularly attend, present and train at regional and national sales conferences and training events
  • Create an engaging sales learning environment by developing & delivering dynamic trainings via live or recorded webinars, small group settings and through Facebook Live.
  • Translate sometimes complicated processes into easily understandable training modules.
  • Regularly attend recurring meetings in order to receive and react quickly to new information that may impact new or existing training needs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and accessibility of training content.
  • Proactively research and incorporate business updates to training material in a timely manner.
  • Analyze sales metrics, NPS and related data to determine trends, then create and execute on strategic training plans to improve sales performance.
  • Enthusiastically represent ACN’s brands, always as an advocate, whether online or in person


  • Experience with creating and delivering live trainings from stage or via webinars
  • Proficiency with multimedia authoring tools, such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, etc. is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience writing training materials
  • Experience dealing with different personalities to overcome obstacles and successfully obtain goals
  • Sales or product training experience desired
  • LMS and/or knowledge base experience is a plus
  • Product training experience in the telecom, energy or home services industries is a plus
  • Ability to travel ~ 50-75% of the time


  • Bachelor's degree in business, adult education, or related field preferred
  • Leadership experience as a trainer, supervisor, or manager of people
  • 7+ years of experience in adult training (sales/product training is preferred)
