Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Produce, shoot and edit video to support a variety of projects including: promotional videos, product demos, events and customer success stories
  • Partner with line of business and marketing teams to identify video marketing opportunities
  • Support live streaming events
  • Promote a culture of storytelling and provide creative direction on video and other multimedia content
  • Work collaboratively with marketing/communications teams to brainstorm and execute video and photography that supports specific campaigns and initiatives
  • Originate and evaluate media projects from initial concept to finished product
  • Design formats, treatments and scripts
  • Create and manage small production budgets and timelines
  • Responsible for video scheduling, shooting, editing, mixing, duplication and final production
  • Manage and develop one  full-time multi-media production specialist
  • Maintain a detailed video planning calendar
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets
  • Have a knowledge of and maintain all video equipment that is available
  • Responsible for set design & lighting, conceiving visuals, storyboarding, selecting music and sound effects, selecting and executing camera movements during shoot, editing video, etc.
  • Capture audio using an array of microphones, mixers, and other equalizing equipment to ensure the best quality product.
  • Research, negotiate and contract assets for video deliverables including voice talent, original compositions, stock motion and audio assets, as needed
  • Helps manage and track videos on social media
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:   

  • Exceptional communications skills, verbal and written
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an organized way with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a matrix management organization and to effectively take direction from and collaborate with peers
  • A passion for storytelling and a strong grasp on the fundamentals of framing, composition, and tone as it relates to video production
  • Experience with video camera operation
  • Knowledgeable of photographic skills and understands lighting
  • Experience using green screen and 3-point light setups for interviews
  • Proficient in software editing tools to include Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe AfterEffects. Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut
  • Understanding of codecs, frame rates, bitrates, file formats and streaming workflows
  • Portfolio of recent work required for consideration

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Journalism, Communications, Film/Photography, Media Arts or related field
  • 7+ years’ of professional experience in agency or in-house marketing environment with 1-2 years of management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 4 times per year to work quarterly Sales Conventions
