JOB SUMMARY: With over 150,000 ACN Independent Business Owners (IBO’s) around the world, this role is integral to ensuring the commissions and bonuses paid to the IBO’s are correct, in accordance with our compensation plan and driving the intended behaviors. The successful candidate will have a strong command of our business model, compensation plan and employ robust analytics to ensure accuracy. The individual will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc internal financial reports providing financial results analysis, variance to plan explanations and trending analysis. The Financial Analysis will work both with the accounting and operational teams to ensure the financials are accurate and well understood by everyone involved. The analyst role will involve multiple disciplines such as; building analytical models and performing analysis of complex data sets; and accounting responsibilities handling month end activities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure accurate calculation, reporting and analysis of weekly and monthly compensation payments while being fully engaged in understanding and articulating global compensation plans
• Provide sales team productivity reports on a daily and monthly basis
• Ensure monthly accounting processes are completed, reviewed and approved (Revenues, costs, accruals, disbursements) related to Global Compensation
• Provide/prepare backup for certain revenue and cost entries
• Identify any missing accruals and/or adjustments
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our revenue and cost elements – ex. contracts, revenue and costs accounting entries, revenue and cost drivers, product trending/expectations, etc…
• Perform other finance related duties including coordinating payment schedules with AP and Treasury and assisting with Audits by providing backup material and results explanations
• Oversees the development and preparation of complex spreadsheets and financial models that will facilitate automated analysis and interpretation of results as well as calculations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
• Strong analytical skills; attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to summarize and present financial and business information
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team – strong business partnering interpersonal skills
• Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
• Sense of urgency – ability to work well in high pressure situations and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and a driven mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house or common database reporting and analysis tools
• Experience in accounting and FP&A

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
• CPA required
• Asset: experience in the telecom or wireless industry
• Experience in business modeling, data analysis and interpretation, and effective and accurate forecasting
• Advanced analytical skill set - ability to analyze problem, develop solution, direct effort & monitor progress.
• Business Objects, PeopleSoft experience is a plus
