Job Description

ACN is one of the world’s largest direct sellers of telecommunications, energy and other essential services, headquartered in Concord, North Carolina. We have global operations in 25 countries and have been rapidly growing since being founded in 1993. We are a privately-held, growth-oriented company that embraces entrepreneurial thinking, quick action, spirit and teamwork!

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Graphic Designer at ACN is responsible for managing brand consistency and all visual design elements to support the business and promote the product portfolio. We need a collaborator who thrives when the pace is fast and production is high. You’ll need to be open to design feedback from key stakeholders. But we want you to be totally confident proposing your best innovations, too.

· COLLABORATE with a UX Designer and digital marketing team on art direction and mock-ups. This includes marketing assets such as website design, email templates, landing pages, social media image and GIFs (whether you think it’s GIF or JIF.)

· CREATE and maintain brand identity recognizable on all marketing, from digital to print. Print assets include event material, magazine production, sales training tools, and a variety of other possibilities in support of our Independent Business Owners.

· DEVELOP presentations that’ll wow people on the big screen at corporate events.

· BRAINSTORM with our marketing team and internal stakeholders to dream up strategies to acquire and keep customers, or bump up our event registration and attendance figures.

· PROVIDE graphic support for our blog posts and other MarCom material.

· MANAGE external vendor partners and contractors. Facilitate work through the graphic queue with a dynamic workspace tool, such as Podio (what we currently use.)

· EXPERIENCE with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign for mockups and multimedia presentation.

· ABILITY to collaborate with peers and also chart your own course. Can you be strategic AND tactical when proposing and executing design solutions? Can you juggle many projects? Also, we travel to events and need graphics for the big screen while we’re on the road.

· SKILL in design, from email, Keynote presentations, print, social media, web, and more.

· ENTREPRENEURIAL THINKING - a fast-paced environment should excite you, not frighten you. Our priorities are written in pencil.

· INTERACT with other departments and people of all ranks and order including the four guys at the very top.

· A BACHELORS’ DEGREE in Fine Art Design, Marketing, or something really, really cool and creative.

· 7-PLUS YEARS of experience as a Graphic Designer. Show us your portfolio!

· 3-PLUS YEARS managing folks.

· EXPERIENCE in direct sales, telecommunications or zoo management. (Kidding on zoo management, but only slightly.)

  • We might ask you to lift or move something 10 pounds or more. Not often, but maybe.
  • Close vision is essential for this role.
  • You’ll be talking and listening, a lot.
  • You’ll also be up and around this office throughout the day.

To succeed at this job, you must be able to perform all the essential functions. We’ve listed requirements represent what knowledge, skill and or ability you’ll need in this role. We’ll make reasonable accommodations to help those with disabilities perform essential functions. This job description isn’t meant to be all-inclusive. We might ask you to do other related duties if you work here, as negotiated to meet the needs of the organization.
