JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Marketing Manager will be a hands-on product marketing leader to enhance efforts for Canada. He or she will possess a well-rounded portfolio of skills, including a passion for product marketing, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to function at a high level under tight, changing deadlines. This individual will need to be able to build strategic relationships with internal and external partners and take tasks and projects from concept to implementation, oftentimes managing both strategy and tactics within[AT1] an entrepreneurial environment.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conceptualize and implement marketing programs and messaging that drives customer acquisition and retention across ACN’s product lines in Canada 
  • Work closely with Product and Customer Care teams to create compelling promotional offer grids to support loyalty, retention or save efforts 
  • Work closely with product management teams to determine marketing and communication strategies for the ongoing promotion of existing products as well as coordinating the launch of product enhancements and new product lines. 
  • Manage and communicate pricing updates within ACN’s communication channels  
  • Plan and organize the communication calendar according to the agreed upon communication strategy 
  • Define & refine key value propositions for ACN’s product portfolio in Canada 
  • Communicate the value proposition of the products and services to the sales team and develop the sales tools and marketing collateral that support the selling process.  
  • Create and maintain up-to-date training materials (in the form of presentations, videos and webinars) for ACN’s product lines, by transforming complex information to be easily digestible to a diverse sales team.  
  • Build customer journeys and manage email and social media communications deployment and execution 
  • Execute website content updates through a CMS and post blog articles 
  • Form partnerships or sponsorships with relevant local/national organizations in order to build awareness around the ACN brand in the Canada market 
  • Work closely with business development and engage with key Partner relationships 
  • Partner with and provide clear direction to the Creative team to produce effective marketing material  
  • Provide clear direction to the copy/content team to produce effective content to support marketing collateral  
  • Monitor, review and report on product marketing activity and results. 
  • Attend regional ACN Events, as needed, to provide marketing support to the IBO channel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Effectively collaborates with peers and cross functional departments 
  • Thinks strategically and develop marketing plans, with a willingness to tactically execute 
  • Is skilled in copy-writing across multiple marketing mediums including email, website, social media, etc. 
  • Extracts information from various sources and turns that information into clear communications that meet the intended goal(s)  
  • Prioritizes multiple projects to meet overall business needs 
  • Must be entrepreneurial minded and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly  
  • Strong organizational and project management skills   
  • Manages time, works under pressure and delivers on tight deadlines  
  • Is goal-oriented and accountable 
  • Is a self-starter 
  • Has working knowledge MAC and/or PC operating systems and hardware 
  • Understands the customer life-cycle and has experience with journey building and marketing automation software  

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT REQUIRED BUT ARE HIGHLY PREFERRED:

  • Experience in the telecommunications, wireless and/or energy (natural gas and electricity) industries is a plus.  
  • Experience using Keynote and/or PowerPoint to develop engaging presentation materials. 
  • Experience using WordPress, Joomla or other web CMS systems   

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field  
  • 7+ years of proven experience in a product marketing and/or brand management.
