JOB SUMMARY 

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to guide ACN in its transformation journey. The IT Change and Release Manager will plan, organize, and strive for flawless execution of ACN’s IT Change Management and Release Management processes. This role is a combination of hands-on execution, and management of internal and partner staff. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

· Manages and participates as a member of a small team of engineers (plans and manages work assignments, sets priorities, reviews work products, conducts performance reviews, etc) 

· Executes IT Change Management and Release Management processes, including preparation of release deliverables, and planning, coordination and execution of implementations 

· Drives evolution and maturity of Change Management, Release Management, and SaaS/Cloud Adoption practices  

· Enforces and champions use of ACN IT Change Management and Release Management processes by ACN staff and vendors, including scheduling, securing of approvals, facilitating communication, ensuring auditability and process compliance, and leading Change Advisory Board 

· Protects business systems from invalid, incomplete, and inappropriate technical changes 

· Maintains and improves use of Application Lifecycle Management tools (Continuous Integration, Source Control, Deployment, etc.) 

· Assists in the resolution of code merge, build, release, and deployment issues 

· Protects and maintains application run time environments (application servers, middleware, deployment tools, etc) 

· Provides support for escalated application availability issues 

  

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Identifies areas of improvement to IT Change Management, Release Management, and SDLC processes, practices and tools 

· Provides training and mentoring to IT staff of industry best practices, ACN IT processes, and appropriate use of tools 

· All other duties as required 

  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED 

· Extensive experience in Java/J2EE, JBoss, Tomcat, and related technologies 

· Extensive experience establishing and migrating workloads from data centers to AWS. 

· Expertise in a broad array of ALM, SDLC, DevOps and related process technologies 

· Experience with Salesforce change sets and DevOps tools (Copado, etc) 

· Experience in one or more of the following technologies a plus: MuleSoft, Jenkins, Git, Svn, Docker, Terraform 

· Experience managing cross-functional teams composed of internal staff and partners 

· Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vendors, partners, and all levels of ACN staff 

· Technical proficiency in system integration and automation tools (Linux/Windows scripting, et al) 

· Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and DevOps methodologies and best practices 

· Motivated, organized, professional, and able to work with minimal supervision 

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

· 10+ years combined experience in DevOps, Release Management, Software Configuration, and Change Management roles 

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
